Ian "Peely" Peel

Peely is possibly the most qualified skipper working in the fishing charter industry on the Sunshine Coast. A Master VI with MED1 qualification, combined with many years of commercial fishing experience and local knowledge makes him one of the most consulted and well known skippers in Mooloolaba. If Peely can't put you on top of the fish, No-one can!

Shannon "Grasshopper" Cooper

Shannon will happily tell you that he taught Troy everything he knows. I have a strong suspicion that this Grasshopper has forgotten more about fishing in the Sunshine Coastal waters than most other are able to learn in a lifetime! I challenge anyone to find a more passionate and knowledgeable Fishing enthusiast. Grasshopper will make your charter a great trip regardless of the catch you end up with.

Danny "Plastics" Brooks

It won't take long to figure out why we call Danny "Plastics". Possibly the only fisherman to almost avoid using any other form of bait, Danny seems determined to prove that there isn't a fish that can't be caught using plastics! If you really want to get on his good side, offer him the head of a good size fish and watch his eyes light up. Just be careful when there are Tuna on the bite as he may well offer you a piece of the still beating heart to share as a snack!!

Ethen "The Kid" Daraz

Ask any of the other crew and they will all tell you, Ethen is the future. He loves his fishing, and is doing exactly what he loves already. Give him a few more years and he will be telling us all what to do! Until then you won't meet a nicer and more helpful deckie in the country!

Paddy "The Boss" van Driel-Vis

Paddy is probably the first point of contact for all our passengers. Although Paddy sees herself as "behind the scenes", she is the face, and voice, of the company. Probably the first person you will talk to when enquiring about a charter or gift-voucher, you won't get better service in this industry from anyone.

Jerry "Dutchie" van Driel-Vis

Jerry's Surname may give away his ancestry, but he is a fiercely proud Queenslander. Jerry fell in love with all things marine as a teenager, and his entire focus is now making sure that Fish n Crab Deep Sea Charters is able to offer an experience unique in all aspects. A stickler for quality, he is the guy to tell any suggestions you might have. Be aware, he may lay claim to the idea himself though!
